Sourced from mature low yielding vineyards on the central and eastern side of the valley floor, this wine is a classic statement of intensity and finesse. While rich and warm in the classic Barossa style, the wine also has a seamless structure and extraordinary length of flavour. Vintage 1999 in the Barossa was warmer than average and produced fully ripened Shiraz, giving this wine intense concentration of flavour and tannin. This wine has been awarded eight gold medals at major Australian and International wine shows. This wine will cellar well for up to 15 years.
